New Balance 993 a Success

The launch of the new heritage running shoe, New Balance 993 was an amazing success. Customers loved the perfect fit of the light weight running shoe. New Balance decreased the weight of the 990 series by over 2oz making it the same weight as the high end running series which includes the 1224, and 1063.
Even thought the shoe is lighter, New Balance was able to significantly increase the cushioning in the 993 with the newly introduced Abzorb DTS technology. Abzorb DTS heel cushion technology is a combination of Abzorb Cushioning, Abzorb SBS Cushioning and Abzorb FL Cushioning. This cushioning system so far has proven to be the softest, yet most supportive Cushioning System.
It turns out that the New Balance 993 has found a home for runners, which lies between the Neutral Cushioning of the New Balance 1063, and the High Stability of the New Balance 1224. This makes the 993 perfect for the average foot type. New Balance has redefined the term “walking on a cloud”, and updated it to “running on a cloud”.
